Riu Hotels was founded in 1953 with a small hotel on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. The company now operates more than 100 properties, most of which are beachside resorts, throughout Spain and the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, the Caribbean and Central America.
Riu Class is the company's loyalty programme, which offers three tiers of membership and benefits, with redeemable points, discounts and special member offers.
